Resources + Workshop

Hi all,
Ahead of today’s session, where we’ll be showcasing some ways to use LLMs to “build” or “make” (and collectively assess the value and risks of doing so), I wanted to

a) Let you know that Zach Muhlbauer, Steve Zweibel, and I will be offering a workshop in the New Media Lab (7388.01) on November 18 on “Co-Developing with Generative AI.” Those of you who are interested in learning more about using LLMs to develop or build digital projects can think of that workshop as a “Part 2” to today’s class. You can learn more and register for it and other NML events here.

b) Share a few instructions on how to obtain free student accounts for some of the services you’ll see in class today (or comparable alternatives).

No need to sign up before class!
